In partnership with the International English Language Institute (IELI) , Hunter College Continuing Education offers high-quality English language learning courses. These courses prepare learners for entry into American colleges and universities, accelerate networking and career opportunities, enrich interpersonal experiences, and boost self-confidence by developing your English accuracy, fluency, and confidence.
Available as a full certificate for $1,500 or individual classes for $600

Our English courses and certificate programs cater to a diverse range of learners. We offer comprehensive courses, from Beginner English to Bridge-to-College Level English. We welcome New York City residents, visitors on tourist visas , diplomats, and international students. We are authorized to issue I-20 forms . After completing the program, you may apply for undergraduate or graduate-level programs at Hunter College, and we’ll waive the TOEFL requirement. Our English for Family and Friends program offers personalized instruction tailored to your or your group’s particular goals and learning outcomes.
